Hello, I live in Mackay, central Queensland; I’m happily married with two\u00a0 sons. I grew up in country Victoria and began my working life at 15 years as a carpenter, a trade which allowed me to go out and experience some fantastic and remote parts of Australia, while easily finding work wherever I wanted to spend some time.<\/p>\n
My deep appreciation of the Australian landscape and the people that inhabit it helped to nurture a love of photography, and when I eventually settled in Mackay, I decided to try my hand at making a living as a photographer. Starting with nothing more than some camera equipment, a dark-room and a large measure of determination, I taught myself an enormous amount about all aspects of the photographic trade as well as how to run a small business. My business has steadily grown over the years, as has my reputation for providing very high quality work and dealing with clients with honesty and integrity.<\/p>\n

\nJim\u2019s Wedding photography is comprehensive, romantic, stylish and most of all, modern. Jim’s work is fluid to suit the day, candid to capture things as they happen, graphic, and of course, romantic to show couples love for each other.
